Severn Trent is said to supply around 2 billion litres of clean water and treats 3.2 billion litres of wastewater every day. It serves 4.6 million households and businesses across Cheshire, Derby, Gloucestershire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Powys, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, and Worcestershire.
Equipment supported by ECS in these regions will include aeration systems, digesters, filters, mixers, penstocks, pipework, pumping stations, valves and screens. Notably, ECS specialises in the distribution, installation, and maintenance of Archimedes screw pumps, capabilities that it will apply to the upkeep of existing Severn Trent installations.
As part of the deal, ECS will continue to provide design, fabrication, installation, maintenance and testing services for key mechanical water and wastewater infrastructure operated by Severn Trent.
