Bosch Thermotechnology, Worcester- Best Engineering Plant winner at the 2013 Best Factory Awards (BFAs) - will be opening its doors for an exclusive best practice tour on 4 December.

Limited spaces are available to see inside the Worcester plant, which makes a revered range of hot water boilers.

The tour includes a chance to hear how the Bosch management team implemented a world-class manufacturing strategy built on flexibility and lean assembly lines.

You'll also have the chance to see lineside process innovations including a friction stir welding process developed alongside the Welding Institute.

Bosch Worcester won the Best Engineering Plant and Health & Safety Award at the 2013 BFAs. The site was also Highly Commended in the Innovation and Energy & Environment Awards.

The BFA judges said the Worcester site was: "a born innovator, which pioneers landmark processes and has a manufacturing strategy that is built on flexibility and lean assembly lines".

Factory tour tickets cost £350 (excluding VAT) per place or £315 per place for booking of three or more people.
