Schneider Electric boosts website for engineers 25 October 2010

Following user feedback, Schneider Electric has conducted a major upgrade of its website, which means that engineers can now compare products and technical information.

Plant engineers can now look at product features by part numbers in a range, to reveal differences such as voltage, ratings, dimensions and settings.

Martin Berelowitz, programme manager for Schneider Electric, says that the level of detail is supported by datasheets that can also be downloaded to include in project plans and quotes.

"The new intelligent reference database [under the automation and control section] allows users to readily compare our extensive range, helping to make it more efficient to identify and specify our offers," comments Berelowitz.
