Edwards launches trade-in deals for the GXS vacuum pump 21 February 2012

Vacuum equipment manufacturer Edwards has launched a 'trade in, trade up, pump smart' campaign, under which plant engineers can exchange old vacuum pumps and get savings on the cost of new GXS dry vacuum pumps.

The Edwards deal applies to any make and specification of vacuum pump and extends to any GX pump or pump and booster combinations.

Marinella Varallo, Edwards market sector manager, says that customers will also get one day of start-up assistance, with advice on set-up and installation for optimum performance.

"The option to trade in old pumps for the GXS makes it even easier for customers to access innovative vacuum technology that will help them improve process efficiencies," says Varallo.

"Customers no longer need to compromise on price or performance and can realise the benefits of an Edwards GXS pump at a much reduced cost," he adds.

The compact GXS dry vacuum pump includes temperature control and is claimed to be robust and reliable, even in harsh applications. It also has a long pump service life and Varallo says it's virtually maintenance free for up to five years.

That, together with reduced gas and power consumption, makes it one of the most economical vacuum pumps for industrial applications.
