EDF Energy joins EEMUA, strengthens power industry representation 19 March 2014

EDF Energy, one of the UK's largest energy companies and its largest producer of low-carbon electricity, ha joined EEMUA (the Engineering Equipment and Materials users Assocation).

"We have been aware for some time that other major power companies are already members of EEMUA, and that they do appreciate the information, networking opportunities and news updates that EEMUA provides," comments EDF Energy's head of engineering Wolfgang Hahn.

Those factors, plus the opportunities afforded through membership of EEMUA to influence standards and best practice, made a compelling case for us to join," he adds.

EEMUA chief executive Clive Tayler, says the association now has very strong representation across the power generation sector.
