Advanced Engineering UK 2011 event bookings go live 05 August 2011

Advanced Engineering UK 2011, which brings together the Aero Engineering, Composites Engineering, Energy Engineering and UK Plastic Electronics shows at the NEC Birmingham on 9–10 November, is now live for visitor booking.

Support for the event is widespread, with organisations involved including: UKTI (UK Trade & Investment); EEF (the manufacturers organisation); ADS (Aerospace, Defence, Security); Composites UK; the Energy Generation and Supply KTN; Electronics, Sensors and Photonics KTN; Motorsport Industry Association; GTMA; National Composites Centre; and the Performance Review Institute.

Show organiser UK Tech Events says it is anticipating nationwide attendance from design, manufacturing, engineering, and technology groups across industries ranging from aerospace to automotive, motorsport, materials, medical, civil engineering, energy, marine, consumer and industrial products.

They will be coming to see more than 350 exhibitors across the four main sectors, as well as six parallel seminar streams over the two days.

"The co-location of four key synergetic advanced engineering and technology sectors allows attendees to network and fact-find beyond their typical environments," suggests Ian Stone, director at UK Tech Events.

"[They will] discover accidental synergies and inter-industry technology transfer opportunities. The really exciting developments are often generated where worlds of knowledge meet," he adds.
