Operator asset care seminar to lay secrets bare 23 November 2012

A one day seminar the promises to explore the background to Operator Asset Care (OAC), using the real life experiences of production and manufacturing directors, is to be staged by MCP on 7 February 2013.

Being run at MCP Consulting & Training, Blythe Valley Business Park, Solihull, West Midlands, the day is being run "in partnership with industry colleagues who have overseen and managed programmes in their own organisations", according to MCP.

MCP makes the point that OAC is based on the notion that people operating production equipment are more capable of improving equipment reliability and performance than anyone else.

It creates a culture where operators develop 'ownership' of their equipment and work with maintenance, engineering and management to ensure that equipment operates properly every day.
