Dalkia adopts Veolia brand name: expands environmental services 30 July 2014

Veolia group firm Dalkia, which majors on combined heat and power (CHP) plant provision and management, as well as utilities services, has changed its name to Veolia.

Pat Gilroy, formerly Dalkia chief executive and now chief operating officer for the firm in the UK, says it'snot just about a name, but also a wider range of environmental services.

"Dalkia has maintained the energy activity of Veolia for the past 13 years, and for brand clarity purposes, this change to align with the Veolia brand has been considered for a long time," states Gilroy.

"We are delighted that it is finally becoming a reality and we are looking forward to a promising future as a fully integrated group," he continues.

"This will not impact on the services we provide to our customers and we have retained all of our energy and utilities expertise.

"The change does mean that the newly integrated company will be able to provide significant benefits in terms of an environmental offer to our clients."
