Atlas Copco introduces SmartLink data monitoring 30 April 2013

Atlas Copco's new SmartLink data monitoring programme for compressors is designed to automatically gather, compare and analyse data – and so help air users increase maintenance and service efficiency.

The company makes the point that, until now, compressors maintenance has been largely based on periodical planned visits or reactive breakdown intervention.

According to Atlas Copco, this doesn't need to be the case anymore: The SmartLink system enables monitors productivity on a 24/7 basis, helping to predict potential problems and showing how and where production can be optimised and energy saved.
